This happens almost every year in Michigan. We get an early snow towards the end of fall and then we see nothing until January. This was taken at the end of fall behind our house in the woods. As I take the picture I'm actually standing in another creek running the other way. In the winter, this area turns to ice and looks like a big T. Thats what the neighbor kids call it. They go ice skating back there almost every year.
